If you ask Anglicans in Toronto what they know about St. Mary & St. Martha, they will usually say, “they love to sing!” In the last year we have stretched ourselves to learn new music and to embrace new styles while still loving our traditional hymns. But are the new ones really new, and the traditional ones really old?
Each Sunday this summer we will be focusing on a favourite piece of worship music (as recommended by our ministry team & community). We will explore its history and tradition, the scripture it illuminates, and how, when we sing it, it points us to the God whom we love and serve. Join us in-person or online each Sunday at 10:30am.
