We have some fantastic news! Mark Regis, our Rector, has been named as a honourary Canon of St. James Cathedral. This recognition highlights his deep commitment and exceptional service to our parish and the wider diocese.
During his remarks appointing the new canons Bishop Andrew Asbil said this honour was given “For his co-coordination of the Postulancy Committee, serving as a Member of General Synod, for his work with International Alpha, and for being a vital leader in relationship-building within the Diocese across theological lines.”
The Rev. Canon Mark Regis leads us in demonstrating what it means to love God and love our Neighbour. Canon Mark has also been elected to Synod Council for this session. Join us in congratulating him on this notable milestone. His journey continues to inspire us all in living out our mission.
Mark will be installed at the cathedral on Sunday, January 21 at 4:30 pm.
