Serving in her role as Lay Pastoral Associate, Sonya is focusing on the areas of faith formation and community engagement. Sonya has over 18 years of experience in the construction and property management sectors. The focus of her work was ensuring the life, health, and wellbeing of those people and spaces under her care was safeguarded.
Sonya’s passion for her work has flowed from the deep and abiding love of Jesus and His commandment to love one another. She has served the local church in the area of discipleship and has a gift for strategic discernment and implementation. Sonya enjoys learning, growing, and flourishing alongside the passionate congregation that is St. Mary and St. Martha.
